Bougainville musician Tyron Scott is the latest finalist for Pacific Break, the Pacific's biggest music competition.Scott filmed the video for his song Adore You in Bougainville, where he grew up."Through my music and actions, my aim is to inspire youths to continue pursuing their dreams and making positive changes in their lives, despite the obstacles they may encounter," he said."I am trying to use my platform to uplift and motivate others to create better lives for themselves and their communities here in Bougainville."Tyron, who describes his music as a "fusion of local PNG sounds and R&B," said his entry was about appreciating someone special."Just expressing my feelings for a very special person," he told Pacific Break Judge Rick Howe."The song is a heartfelt tribute to appreciating someone for their authentic self rather than for the persona they might project or aspire to be.
