Robert Pattinson is the latest A-lister to join Christopher Nolan's new movie. Pattinson's career has done a complete 180 following his departure from Twilight. After starring in the Safdie Brothers' A24 drama, Good Time, Pattinson took on an eclectic range of projects. Over the last few years, he has jumped between A24 horrors like The Lighthouse, the underrated sci-fi drama, High Life, Christopher Nolan's own Tenet, and has given one of the best performances as Bruce Wayne in The Batman. The British actor is now expanding his filmography even further, although we don't actually know what the new film will be about yet.

Per Deadline, Robert Pattinson is in talks to join Christopher Nolan's latest movie. No official plot details have been released yet, but the untitled movie already has a July 2026 release slot. Pattinson will be joining an already packed ensemble cast. MCU star, Tom Holland, is reportedly leading the movie. The film also stars Zendaya, Lupita Noyng'o, and former Christopher Nolan alumni, Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon.
Over the past few weeks, "leaks" and reports of the movie's plot and genre were released online. One claim suggests Nolan's next film is a 1920s set vampire horror movie. While another called it a historical biopic akin to 2023's Oppenheimer. However, Deadline's report has confirmed those rumors are false. Although the official synopsis has not yet been released, production is expected to begin in early 2025, meaning we might not be waiting long to learn more about the movie.

Christopher Nolan's new movie is the second project scheduled to shoot in 2025 that Robert Pattinson is attached to. DC fans are eagerly awaiting Matt Reeves' The Batman: Part II, starring Pattinson as The Dark Knight. Details about Part II's development have been juxtaposed over the previous weeks. Early reports claimed that Reeves and co-writer Mattson Tomlin had completed the script. However, DC Studios co-president James Gunn recently responded to a fan's question on Threads, confirming that the script for The Batman: Part II hasn't been turned in. "I think that report was well-intentioned but it was mistaken. We are very much looking forward to it," Gunn wrote.
As a result, fans are once again in the dark about The Batman: Part II's development. The fan base is even more eager for the sequel following the release of the immensely successful HBO spin-off, The Penguin.
