Devin Really Seemed To Be In Love With Jenn

Reality Steve added that he didn't know what Devin's reasoning was for breaking up with Jenn, or when it happened. He said that he guessed that viewers will find out what happened during the finale. Reality Steve wrote that he was curious to find out the reason for the breakup because "Devin has lovebombed Jenn ever since hometowns and now couldn't even make it to the 'After the Final Rose' [episode] with her.'" Devin was the first man on the show to tell Jenn that he loved her, and he really did seem sincere about his feelings.
At first glance, it's shocking that Devin broke up with Jenn, considering how completely enamored he had been with her since the beginning of The Bachelorette season 21. However, there were a lot of hints that their relationship might not last, including the fact that Devin almost left the show after the Fantasy Suites because he couldn't move forward with Jenn until she told him that she loved him too. Jenn did eventually tell Devin, but only after she told him that she had trouble expressing her feelings. However, perhaps there was too much doubt between them for Devin to continue their engagement.
It seems as though Jenn is going to break new ground on the show by becoming the first Bachelorette to propose. In the previews for the finale, Jenn is seen telling someone that she can't let him propose to her, but, because the spoilers revealed that she did get engaged to Devin, she must've proposed to him. That moment will be very exciting and moving, but, unfortunately, it'll be short-lived. It's very sad that Jenn didn't get the happy ending that she wanted, but, hopefully, she'll find her true love in the future.
The three-hour The Bachelorette season 21 finale airs Tuesday, September 3 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
