The new live-action show, which stars Jude Law, is set around the same time as The Mandalorian and will focus on four kids lost in the galaxy who try to make their way home.
While a trailer is yet to be publicly released, fans attending Star Wars Celebration in April 2023 were given a glimpse of the series, with the unseen trailer confirming that Law's character, Jod Na Nawood, is a Jedi.
Alongside the actor, the series will star newcomers Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith and Ryan Kiera Armstrong as the four children.
Skeleton Crew comes from showrunners Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, who are known for their work on Spider-Man.
Speaking about the series, Law said last year: "I was six years old when this galaxy, this world gripped me, blew my mind.

"And I feel like I've been in preparation ever since. It was a total pleasure, I think one of the highlights was working with the incredible, talented people working behind the scenes. It was a true dream come true."
The latest news comes after Star Wars recently wrapped up its latest live-action series The Acolyte, which is set 100 years before the events of the prequels.
The franchise is also gearing up for the second season of Andor, which was due to be released this year but likely won't premiere until 2025 after filming delays due to last year's Hollywood strikes.
