The streaming release date has been revealed for Red One. Released on November 15, Red One is a holiday movie starring Dwayne Johnson. It takes an action film approach to a Christmas film, showing what happens when a special operative has to join an unlikely team in order to save Santa after he is kidnapped. In addition to Johnson, Red One features a leading cast including J.K. Simmons, Chris Evans, and Lucy Liu. Throughout its release, Red One has been subject to stiff box office competition, including titles such as Wicked, Gladiator II, and Moana 2.

As per Amazon, the official streaming release date for Red One has been revealed. Red One will be coming to Prime Video on Thursday, December 12. This means that Red One will be available to at-home viewers in just three days.

This is somewhat surprising based on Red One's recent record, as it was in the top 5 at the box office in the United States this week and last week.

While it has managed to cling onto its top 5 box office slot, it would be impossible for Red One to make back its budget at this point.
