It's time for us to get into the month of July and see what's out there for us at the multiplex and at home on streaming with new movie options.
As we did last month, we've broken down what movies are coming out this month that catch our attention. Promising options range from the hugely anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine to a brand-new take on Twister.
We've also got the return of the Despicable Me franchise, a space-race rom-com with Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson and a very good Sundance 2024 breakout.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F
Eddie Murphy is back as Axel Foley in the long-awaited fourth installment of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. This time, he returns to California to help out his daughter.

Speaking of romantic comedies set against NASA, Fly Me to the Moon looks like an old-school charmer about a very fun twist of how the United States made it to its historic lunar landing. Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson co-star.

Twisters
Take a deep breath, buckle up and ride the storm as a brand-new Twister film blows into theaters. Expect this to be one of the biggest films of the summer, both figuratively and literally.

The Merc with a Mouth makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut alongside Hugh Jackman playing a variant of his classic Wolverine. Expect lots of cameos and lots of dollars at the box office.

Susan Sarandon, Bette Midler, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Megan Mullally all co-star in a comedy about lifelong friends reuniting for a wedding in Key West.

Sean Wang's delightful coming-of-age film is one of the first of its kind to really dig into the nostalgia of the late 2000s and dig into the insecurities of growing up at the rise of social media. A deserving Sundance breakout, it's a heartfelt journey that's more than worth your time.
