Olivia Rodrigo indulged in an iconic Australian rite of passage as she kicked off her Australian leg of her Guts tour this week.
The US pop star, 21, kicked off her sold-out shows in Melbourne on Wednesday night and gushed over her love of Australia on stage at her second show on Thursday.
Before performing her hit song So American at Rod Laver Arena in front of around 15,000 fans, Olivia revealed she has been embracing classic Aussie traditions.
'You guys are so great, and you live in the coolest city ever,' she gushed.
'I really love this city so much. I've been exploring, I've been meeting some of you guys, I had a great Australian breakfast, so good.'
'I tried a Tim Tam for the first time in my life today -- 10 out of 10, it gets my approval.'
The iconic Aussie biscuit is enjoying a fame resurgence amongst visiting international artists who have been embracing the Tim Tam Slam tradition.
They have been trying out the trend, which involves biting the biscuit at both ends and using it as a straw, and it has received more glowing reviews than Vegemite.

In a TikTok posted on Thursday, Olivia filmed herself tucking into an original Tim Tam as she tried out the iconic Aussie treat for the first time.
As she sat cross-legged in her hotel suite, she was also surrounded by six packets of various flavours as she fully embraced the tradition.
'Spectacular, give me 14 of them,' the audio on the clip narrated.
The video came just hours before she delivered an impressive setlist filled with fan-favourite tracks including Driver's Licence, Good 4 You, and Happier from her debut album Sour.
She also performed her current hits from her acclaimed second album Guts, including Love is Embarrassing and Get Him Back.

During her second Melbourne show, Olivia caused a frenzy when she belted out one of her rarely performed hits.
As well as her usual set list, Olivia sang her ballad All I Want, which is performed by her character Nina in the hit show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
It is believed to be the first time that Olivia has sang the track on her Guts tour.
Footage from the standout moment was shared to TikTok by concertgoer Katerina Walczak and sent Olivia's fans worldwide completely wild.
Many shared their jealousy that they hadn't seen the singer perform All I Want at other live shows.
One wrote: 'I'm so jealous I love All I Want so much.'
Another said: 'No one understands how crazy this is.'

A third shared: 'Nah you guys got next level luck today' while a fourth gushed: 'I've actually never been more jealous.'

The superstar will perform at Rod Laver Arena again on Sunday and Monday, before bringing the party to Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on October 17, 18, 21 and 22.
One lucky Aussie fan inspired mass envy earlier this week as they shared a personal interaction with the pop star, who she spotted wandering the streets of north Melbourne on Tuesday.
She opted for a low-key look for the relaxed outing, skipping her on-stage glamour and going incognito in a pair of jeans and a sweater, sneakers and a New York Yankees cap.

Olivia was taking in Melbourne's famous laneways and arcades ahead of performing her four sold-out shows at Rod Laver Arena when a superfan recognised her.
Bianca Miolo, 22, approached the globally famous hitmaker on Peel St in Collingwood and filmed her interaction with the Jealousy, Jealousy singer.
The aspiring artist asked if she had any advice on how to make it big in the music business, with Olivia giving her a sweet message in response.
'Just make stuff every day, just keep going right until you have good quality,' Olivia said in the video, which delighted fan Bianca uploaded to TikTok.
Olivia also stopped to pose for a couple of quick photos with the fan, pulling a peace sign with another girl's arm around her shoulder.
Olivia, who became an overnight sensation when she released Driver's License in 2021, is currently travelling the world on her first arena tour and taking in the sights.
