The NFL and Netflix are taking a mix-and-match approach to the announcing lineup for their Christmas Day doubleheader.
The league and the streamer have set the full teams for their two games, including a studio crew in Los Angeles and additional reporters at each game site. The on-air teams come from several of the NFL's broadcast partners, including CBS Sports -- which is producing the games for Netflix -- NBC Sports, ESPN, Fox Sports and the NFL Network.
CBS announcer Ian Eagle will take play-by-play duties for the 1 p.m. ET game (Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers) with analysts Nate Burleson and JJ Watt, both hosts of The NFL Today on CBS (Burleson has also been the analyst for CBS' alternate telecasts on Nickelodeon). Melanie Collins (CBS) and Stacey Dales (NFL Network) will be the sideline reporters.
NBC's Noah Eagle (Ian's son) will call the 4:30 p.m. ET game (Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans) with Fox analyst Greg Olsen, and the NFL Network's Jamie Erdahl and Steve Wyche will be on the sidelines. The NFL Network's Ian Rapaport and rules analyst Gene Steratore (CBS) will be on hand for both games.
In Los Angeles, former NFL Network and current FanDuel host Kay Adams will anchor coverage, joined by former New Orleans Saints great Drew Brees, former NFL QB and ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III, ESPN's Mina Kimes and NFL Network's Manti Te'o. Additionally, ESPN host Laura Rutledge will anchor coverage from Pittsburgh alongside analysts (and brothers) Devin and Jason McCourty, who now work for NBC and CBS, respectively.
Comedians Bert Kreischer and Nate Bargatze will also be part of the festivities, with Kreischer serving as "tailgate correspondent" and Bargatze billed as a special guest.
As previously reported, Beyoncé is set to perform during halftime of the Ravens-Texans game.
The NFL and Netflix signed a three-year deal in May for the streamer to show games on Christmas; this year's doubleheader will be followed by at least one game each in 2025 and '26.
