MaXXXine is scheduled to be released in US theaters by A24 on July 5.
The slasher film is the third installment in the X film series based on original characters created by Ti and starring British actress Mia, 30.
MaXXXine is a direct sequel to the 2022 film X in which Mia had dual roles as Maxine Minx and Pearl in the film set in 1979.
Mia reprised her role of Pearl in the 2022 psychological horror film Pearl that she also co-wrote with director Ti.

X, also starred Jenna Ortega and Brittany Snow, and earned $15.1 million at the box office with a budget of $1 million.
Pearl also had a $1 million budget and earned $10.1 million at the box office.
