Dancing With the Stars is in full swing, and the first two couples were eliminated in Week 2 in a rare double elimination. The next episode's theme is Soul Train Night, but when exactly will the contestants and pros return to the ballroom?
Last week's theme was Oscars Night, and contestants danced to music from some of Hollywood's biggest films. The top-scoring performances included Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong's rumba (24/30), Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach's foxtrot (22/30), Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson's rumba (22/30), and Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold's paso doble (22/30).
Unfortunately, Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov and Anna Delvey and Ezra Sosa were eliminated in Week 2 of the competition. Delvey made media headlines after she said on live television that she would take away "nothing" from her experience on the show.
Delvey later doubled down on her controversial response on Spelling's misSPELLING podcast on Sept. 28. "You guys told me what I'm supposed to do. I tried to do it, and then I still was rejected," Delvey explained. "And, I'm taking away nothing. This is what I'm taking away from it, because your advice was worthless. The advice did not pay off for me, even though I tried to follow it."
Ready for the dances and the drama to continue with a new episode of DWTS? Here's what you need to know about this week's schedule and why there's a longer wait for new episodes of Season 33.
No, Dancing With the Stars will not air a new episode on Tuesday, Oct. 1. ABC moved the episode previously scheduled for Oct. 1 to the following week. Dancing With the Stars will resume with a special two-night event on Monday, Oct. 7, and Tuesday, Oct. 8. Monday's theme will be Soul Train Night, while the dancers will rock to hair metal music on Tuesday.
