Every Linkin Park Album, Ranked Worst To Best (Including From Zero)
At the final Eras Tour date, Taylor Swift let fans know that her final two re-recordings, Reputation (Taylor's Version) and Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version), are on the way. Swift even hinted at which rerecording will come first and which will be the last Taylor's Version released, if you paid close enough attention.
It seems like just yesterday that the pop superstar kicked off the Eras Tour to celebrate her 10 albums. She'd later release The Tortured Poets Department, adding another record-breaking album to the setlist. While The Eras Tour represented Swift reclaiming her art, which was famously sold to Scooter Braun in 2019, two re-recordings remain locked away in Swift's vault.
Before taking her 18 years of artistry on the road, the singer-songwriter gave fans two Taylor's Versions, Fearless and Red, in 2021. The next two came in the midst of the cultural phenomenon. Swift surprised audiences by announcing Speak Now and 1989 during her acoustic sets at her Nashville and Los Angeles shows. While Swift didn't announce any new releases at her final show, she did leave easter eggs for the final albums.
Taylor Played "A Place In This World" As A Surprise Song This Debut Track Is Connected To The Eras Tour Close
One of the biggest disappointments of the Eras Tour was that Taylor Swift's debut album didn't get its own set. The acoustic surprise song set became the place where Swift often revisited her first album. For the final night of the Eras Tour, Swift surprised fans with her debut album's 4th track, "A Place In This World." Of all the debut tracks, this one has a special connection to the tour. In the original lyric booklet, the photo included for "A Place In This World" is the same photo used for the debut era on the Eras Tour poster.
Swift has proven that nothing she does is a coincidence, so this seems like a special hint that Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version) is coming soon. The pop star also mashed the song up with her 1989 single "New Romantics," suggesting that debut might be the next re-recording to be released. Taylor Swift's last released re-recording was 1989, back in October 2023, and "New Romantics" is the final song on the original album, not including the added vault tracks. This could suggest that Taylor Swift will be the next Taylor's Version to come instead of the highly anticipated Reputation (Taylor's Version.)
Taylor Played A Reputation Tour Mashup Long Live/New Year's Day Was First Played At Her Previous Tour
While Swift included The Tortured Poets Department track "The Manuscript" in her final Eras Tour surprise mashup, she also mashed up two other songs. The musician revisited her "Long Live" and "New Year's Day" piano mashup, which she had only performed on her Reputation Stadium Tour. The songs perfectly sum up the experience Swift had with her fans on the Eras Tour. However, they also suggest that Reputation (Taylor's Version) is on its way. There are two things Swift could be suggesting with her song choices.
Related Why Taylor Swift's Next Taylor's Version Re-Release Should Be Reputation, Not Debut
With only two Taylor's Versions left to release, Taylor Swift has a tough choice in front of her, but she ought to choose Reputation over Debut.

Since she played the final track on TTPD, not including bonus songs or The Anthology tracks, she could be hinting that Reputation is next. However, leaving the Reputation Tour performance as the final surprise mashup while performing a debut song first could also suggest that Reputation (Taylor's Version) will be the final re-recording from Taylor Swift.
Since 2021, Taylor Swift has created a pattern of releasing two re-recorded albums every other year, with a brand-new album in between. Midnights was released in 2022, while The Tortured Poets Department dropped in early 2024. It's likely that both Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version) and Reputation (Taylor's Version) will be coming in 2025, and the recent surprise songs could confirm this. While there's no confirmed release date in sight, and the release order is still unclear, the final Eras Tour show proved Taylor Swift is ready to take back her name and her reputation.
