Ncuti Gatwa has shared an exciting update on the future of Doctor Who.
The Fifteenth Doctor will be returning to screens this Christmas in the special episode 'Joy to the World', before kicking off an all-new 15th season in 2025. But that's not all!
During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Gatwa confirmed that plans are in the works to film his third season (and 16th overall for the show).
"It is all going well," he said. "We did the second series this year, the Christmas special is coming up, and we are filming a third series next year."

Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies had previously suggested a firm decision on season 16 wouldn't be made until the 2025 episodes are transmitted.
Gatwa also shared his reaction to bringing Doctor Who to San Diego Comic-Con over the summer, where he was able to meet legions of the show's fans from all over the world.
"It was incredible - it was like nerds' Olympics. It was intense but beautiful, and 'Whovians' are the sweetest and best fans," he said.
As mentioned, The Doctor will return to screens in the festive season for 'Joy to the World', which is written by former Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat.

Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan guests in the Christmas special as Joy, whose potentially lonely holiday in London is interrupted for a madcap adventure with The Doctor.
Then, in the new year, Gatwa and co-star Millie Gibson (who plays Ruby Sunday) will have some company in the TARDIS as Andor's Varada Sethu joins as a new companion.
Sethu previously appeared in Doctor Who earlier this year in the episode 'Boom' as the character Mundy Flynn but will be playing Belinda Chandra in this full-time role.
Fans can expect the return of Anita Dobson as the mysterious Mrs Flood, after the character warned The Doctor's story would end in "absolute terror" in the season 14 finale.
