Bowie's second-longest-charting title in the nation remains The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. That album, which helped propel him to stardom decades ago, has racked up 168 stays on the list.
Another compilation from the same artist isn't far behind, and it ranks as his third-longest-running win on the roster. Best of Bowie, which was released in 2002, has spent 163 weeks on the U.K. albums chart.
Legacy rises slightly on the U.K. albums ranking this frame. The compilation is up to No. 65 -- two spaces higher than last time around.
Somehow, Legacy has never reached the No. 1 spot on the U.K. albums chart, despite it being his most successful project in many respects. It's previously risen as high as No. 5, adding to his total count of top 10 smashes, which is now up to 36 placements inside the region.
