Cameron Diaz is out of retirement as one of the stars of the appropriately named film Back in Action. Coming to Netflix on Jan. 17, the official trailer for the film has now been released.
In Back in Action, per Netflix's synopsis: "Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily (Diaz) and Matt (Jamie Foxx) find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown." Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Baywatch) directed the movie with a script he co-wrote with Brendan O'Brien. The film marks the first movie role for Diaz since she appeared in Annie in December 2014, marking a decade-long absence from Hollywood. Ahead of the movie's Netflix release, fans can get another early look at her return to the screen by watching the official trailer for Back in Action below.
"We're on a mission, and we take this opportunity where people might think we're dead, to disappear off the face of the planet and start a new life and raise our family," Diaz teased about the film, per Tudum.
