Tim Burton Officially Gets The Redemption He Deserves After $353 Million Flop 5 Years Ago
The digital and Blu-ray release dates for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice have been announced. The long-awaited Tim Burton sequel starring Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, and Catherine O'Hara has been generally well-received since its debut at the Venice Film Festival and its subsequent theatrical release. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice's box office has been even more impressive as it surpassed expectations and had the second-highest September opening weekend of all time, with only 2017's It performing better.
Warner Bros. has now revealed that Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will be available for digital purchase and 48-hour rental as of October 8 on participating platforms, including Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, and Fandango at Home. This will be followed by the physical media release of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 19. Check out the Blu-ray and digital 4K covers below:
The physical media releases will contain an array of exclusive bonus features, including commentary from Burton and a behind-the-scenes look at the sequel's stop-motion animation. See the full list of features below:

The Sequel's Success Moves To Its Next Phase
Close
Confirmation of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice's home media releases indicates that its theatrical run is beginning to come to a close after a successful first month in theaters. In addition to its opening weekend box office milestone, the sequel grossed more than $374 million worldwide against a $100 million budget. The ghost with the most drew audiences to theaters during a month that often sees lower box office numbers, and that success can now translate to digital and physical media.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice's Ending Is So Much Better If Beetlejuice 3 Never Happens
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has an ambiguous but fitting ending, and though it left many questions, it's more perfect if a third movie never happens.
Even by its fourth weekend in theaters, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice still outperformed much of its more recently released competition, including Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis and the animated Transformers One. Nevertheless, even the best theatrical releases eventually need to wind down, and it is a fitting time to do so after a month in theaters, and as a new potential box office juggernaut, Joker: Folie à Deux, makes its theatrical debut. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice exceeded all box office expectations and can carry this momentum into its digital and physical media sales.
Our Take On Beetlejuice Beetlejuice's Home Release Dates
They Work Well With The Upcoming Holidays
As a movie that is perfect for the Halloween season, the October 8 digital release date is well-timed, as audiences can watch and rewatch the sequel throughout the month. Most of Burton's best movies are already ideal to watch during the weeks leading up to Halloween, which also applies to Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The November 19 physical media date is equally effective as it can be purchased as holiday shopping goes into full swing, helping Beetlejuice Beetlejuice continue its domination to the end of 2024.
